Our Fee Structure — Transparent, Stage-Wise, No Surprises

Every payment at Easy Divorce is linked to a specific milestone in your case. You never pay for work that has not happened yet.

Mutual Divorce (Non-NRI) — Total: Rs. 40,000

  1. Rs. 999 — Initial submission: case intake, eligibility review, and secure form submission
  2. Rs. 9,000 — Documentation and drafting: settlement term structuring, joint petition preparation
  3. Rs. 10,000 — Court filing and First Motion hearing: representation before the Family Court judge
  4. Rs. 20,001 — Second Motion and Divorce Decree: final hearing and certified decree delivery

NRI Mutual Divorce — Total: Rs. 80,000

  • Rs. 999 — Initial submission and NRI-specific case initiation
  • Rs. 19,000 — Complex NRI documentation, settlement drafting, Special Power of Attorney guidance, and petition preparation
  • Rs. 30,000 — Court filing and First Motion hearing (via video conferencing or Special Power of Attorney representation)
  • Rs. 30,001 — Final hearing (Second Motion) and issuance of certified Divorce Decree

Legal Notice Service — Rs. 5,000 (Flat Fee)

Covers reviewing your information, legal research, and drafting a customised, legally sound notice tailored to your specific situation. Delivered within 2-4 working days.

1. Introduction

Easy Divorce is a platform providing transparent and professional legal facilitation services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are processed for our services. By engaging our services and making a payment, you (“the Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this policy.

2. General Terms

All payments made to Easy Divorce are for the facilitation of legal services, which include professional consultation, document drafting, administrative work, and liaison with our verified partner lawyers. These services commence immediately upon receipt of payment. Therefore, our refund policy is strictly defined as below.

3. Refund Policy for Mutual Divorce (Non-NRI)

Steps 1 and 2 (Rs. 999 and Rs. 9,000) — Non-Refundable

These payments are strictly non-refundable. The Rs. 999 payment covers initial application review, administrative processing, and case initiation. The Rs. 9,000 payment covers the meticulous preparation of documentation, settlement terms, and the court petition — work that begins immediately upon receipt of payment.

Steps 3 and 4 (Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 20,001) — Conditional 50% Refund

A 50% refund of the individual payment may be considered only if ALL of the following conditions are met:

  • Neither party (husband or wife) has signed the Mutual Divorce Petition, AND
  • A refund request is submitted via email to support@easydivorce.in, AND
  • The request is made within 30 (thirty) calendar days of making the payment

4. Refund Policy for NRI Mutual Divorce

Steps 1 and 2 (Rs. 999 and Rs. 19,000) — Non-Refundable

These payments are strictly non-refundable. The Rs. 999 covers initial consultation and NRI-specific case initiation. The Rs. 19,000 covers the more complex documentation, settlement drafting, and petition preparation required for NRI cases, which begins immediately upon payment.

Steps 3 and 4 (Rs. 30,000 each) — Conditional 50% Refund

A 50% refund of the individual payment (i.e., Rs. 15,000) may be considered only if ALL of the following conditions are met:

  • Neither party (husband or wife) has signed the Mutual Divorce Petition, AND
  • A refund request is submitted via email to support@easydivorce.in, AND
  • The request is made within 30 (thirty) calendar days of making the payment

5. Refund Policy for Legal Notice

The entire fee of Rs. 5,000 for the Legal Notice service is strictly non-refundable. This is because the service involves immediate professional work including reviewing your information, legal research, and drafting a customised notice. This work is completed and delivered to you promptly upon payment.

6. How to Request a Refund

To be eligible for a refund under Sections 3 and 4 above, you must:

  • Send a clear and explicit email requesting the refund to support@easydivorce.in
  • Include your full name, case reference number (if any), and the transaction details of the payment for which the refund is being sought
  • Wait for verification and approval by our accounts team based on the conditions outlined above

Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
